Sports Club with a Social Club

I am involved with a club that also has a social club. We are registered as a CASC but have not made any claims yet. Will any Gift Aid we receive need to be put in a seperate bank account and what can the Gift aid be spent on ?

Hi Kieran,

You do not need to have a separate bank account for Gift Aid claims. Just use the same one that you use for the original donations.

There are no specific guidelines as to what Gift Aid money can actually be spent on. However, I think that it would be best practice to use it for the same purose as the original donation.
